Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking. In this event, the deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to info@salkantay-trail.com. The date of cancellation is the date on which written notification is received by Salkantay Horizons.
The following cancellation policy applies to all bookings:
Cancellations received more than 30 days before the trek start date will receive a full refund of all payments made including the deposit. Cancellations received between 15 and 30 days before the trek start date will result in the forfeiture of the 30 percent deposit. The balance payment will be refunded in full. Cancellations received less than 15 days before the trek start date are non-refundable. No refund is available for any unused portion of the trek once it has begun, including early departure due to illness, injury, or personal choice.

Date changes requested more than 30 days before the original start date will be made at no additional charge. Changes requested within 30 days of the original start date may incur an administrative fee.
