That means reliable delivery, proper documentation, and the kind of business conduct that established travel trade partners require.

Full trade documentation. We provide full invoicing, booking confirmations, and client documentation in the formats required by travel trade partners. We are registered with APAVIT, the Peruvian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies, and operate under full authorization from the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Cusco.

Dedicated partner support. Trade partners receive a dedicated point of contact, priority response times, and access to our partner rate sheet. We do not mix trade inquiries with direct consumer bookings. Your account is handled separately.

OUR TREK PORTFOLIO

All treks in our portfolio are available to trade partners at partner net rates. Commission and margin structures are provided upon registration and are not published publicly.

Custom itineraries, extended circuits, and combined packages with other My Peru Destinations Group brands are available on request. If your clients need a complete Peru program including Sacred Valley, Amazon, Lake Titicaca, or multi-country circuits, our sister brands within the group can cover every element.

BOOKING PROCESS FOR TRADE PARTNERS

Once your agency is registered as a Salkantay Horizons trade partner, the booking process is straightforward.

Submit your client’s details including passport numbers, trek selection, preferred dates, dietary requirements, and any special considerations via email or our partner booking form. We confirm availability and send a pro forma invoice within 24 hours. Payment terms for registered trade partners are agreed at the time of registration and differ from the standard consumer deposit schedule. Your client receives the same pre-trek documentation, safety briefing materials, and packing information as all direct bookings. We communicate directly with you rather than with your client unless you instruct otherwise.

FAMILIARIZATION TREKS

We offer a limited number of familiarization trek places each year for travel advisors, agency staff, and content creators who want to experience the Salkantay route firsthand before selling or promoting it. FAM places are offered at a preferential rate and are subject to availability and a brief application process.

To be considered for a FAM place, you must be an active travel professional or content creator with a demonstrable audience or client base relevant to adventure travel in Peru. FAM requests are reviewed on a rolling basis. Contact us with your details and we will assess availability and fit.
